In addition to driving and catching a taxi, the Port Authority bus (Number 28X) can be caught from the baggage claim level at the airport. It stops downtown at the corner of Liberty Ave and Sixth Street across from the building.

- Exit the Airport south, getting onto PA-60S. PA-60S turns into I-279N.
- Follow I-279N through the Fort Pitt Tunnel.
- After passing through the tunnel, take the Liberty Ave exit straight ahead.
- Follow Liberty Ave. to Sixth Ave.
- Turn right onto Sixth Ave.
- At the first traffic light, turn right onto Wood Street. The FreeMarkets Center parking garage is on the right hand side.
